If I did it was completely unintentional. I free handed that sitting in a hotel room without so much as a starting point. May I ask who from?

I guess, he meant it more like he will be stealing that profile, because he likes it.

Anyway, i like it, too.

Ha!.... I meant that I am totally going to steal that profile because I like it!

Lol I definitely took that the wrong way! I'm sorry, my bad. I'll take it as a compliment and steal away!

Here's a new RF3 in the works, this one has 2 full days into it so far not including heat treat day.

Zirconium clip! It's just roughed out here...

Frame flats are at 600 grit back down from 800 and frame bevels are eggshell orange peel textured. It was tough getting the lines crisp but well worth the time. I'm still going to go over the flats some more once this one is ready for final finish.

This bad boy tanto fighter is out to heat treat and the skeletonized neckers in 20CV are as well. Just dressed them up for pictures before sending them off haha

I've been posting woods like crazy, gotta pay for a flight to see my girlfriend. These new aussie burls have been crazy to work. Very similar to desert ironwood.

Clean Grindage LCKT.

First knives in almost a month! :O

Josh, Your knives have a very original look and a crisp look as well. These two are different though...did you mill or otherwise cut a slot near the spines of these two blades? Also are you flatgrinding the tips to give that concave front to your hollow grind. They are nice looking. It appears that you grind down to a zero edge and do not need to sharpen the finished blade. I admire your creativity. Larry

I've been putting in a lot of extra time at work learning solidworks so I haven't been making progress on knives. But I have been working with the sheet metal functions of solidworks. I made a stainless rack for my belts, designed in solidworks and waterjet cut. Then bent it up on our finger brake.

Then I'm currently designing a new 2x72, a horizontal 2x72, a hydraulic press, and this forge.

I am planning to make it all stainless sheet metal, water jet cut, and rolled. I still have to design the ribbon burner but I think it will be pretty nice once it's all done. The telescoping handle support will be bent up using stainless 1/2" solid round and will be full length to accommodate long handles.

Coming from you Josh, that means a ton! GODLY grinds on those two!!!

WOW, I THINK IM IN LOVE. top class man. Very rarely does a knife grab me like thoes two did.

Thanks guys! Appreciate it. These are ridiculously time consuming/nerve racking but when i don't mess them up they look pretty cool. :)

Thank you very much Larry. Yes, the upper swedge was ground with a small wheel and the tips flat ground to join the hollow ground bottom bevel. Three grinds, three tooling arms, all flowing symmetrically. My least favorite grinds to do lol. These have not yet been sharpened hence the lack of a secondary bevel. :)

Here is a more close up shot to show the different grinds a little better.

Blessings,
Joshua
