Made a couple of new workbenches this morning . They will come in handy when rearranging in the workshop.

I have some edge glued oak that'll do fine as workbench tops.

Nicely done benches! Clean design & should be rock-solid. Are you going with a 36" working height?

Really like the floor as well, epoxy finish is great for spills & clean-up.

Nicely done!! Like that orange g10.
How did you do the stoppin?

Thank u. I'm not a fan of using g10 and certainly not a bright orange but I was surprised and pleased when it was all done.

Simple 1/8" pin in the right place :-)

Is it loose in there and the g10 holds it in place? Will be making a friction folder soon. Already have a design.

(Photos here, soon!!)

Well this one is just chock full of firsts for me! First Japanese styled knife, first rust blued finish first tsukamaki style wrap, first epoxy impregnated paracord, and last but not least first knife off the new home-built 2x72!

Lots of firsts on the is one!!!
First Japanese styled knife, first epoxy impregnated paracord wrap, first tsukamaki wrap, first ray skin(thank you Stacey!), first rust blue. And last but not least, first knife off my home-made 2x72!!
The sheath (yet to be built) will be my first kydex sheath too!

Ok specifics, 1/8" 1084+ from AKS, ray skin w/epoxy impregnated tsukamaki style paracord wrap and turkshead knot "guard".
OAL:8.5"
Blade: 4.5" long by 1"

There are some odd marks on the blade from the bluing, and the edges of the ray skin can be seen if you look down inside the Turks head, but over all I'm pretty pleased!
