I made an additional tool arm slot on my flat platen for my TW-90. I thought it turned out pretty good, so I figured I'd share the idea. I have an idea for an out of the way tool rest. I have a couple of other tweaks and pieces to make it before it'll be ready. I'll post another picture once everything is complete. I think this will also be useful when I have it flipped horizontal too.

Love me some micarta. :D

Josh, The grind on your knives is so crispy and nice. May I ask what your using to grind your swedges. It has such a deep hollow I am guessing a small contact wheel. Great looking grinds. Larry

Thanks Jim!

Larry,
Yep! Small wheel. Size range can vary but 1 inch usually works. Appreciate the compliments. :D

Blessings,
Joshua

Went by the granite shop today and upgraded my surface plates. Picked up 5 more. I may let one or two go as gaw's or trades just to free up some space. Planed on using them as props for knife photos, but may want the room. Keeping the nice rectangle one as a dedicated layout plate. The large oval for lapping and one more for glue ups so like I said I may let w couple go.

Dude I just realized you live in socal. Where are you located? If we get together I am hoping that the cleanliness all your knives have will rub off on me.

Riverside my dude!

Finishing up a few more before the holidays. :D

Trying to get ready for Christmas, spent yesterday heat treating (including straightening during the tempering:barf:) and today grinding and etching....
I keep trying things outside my comfort zone with the two on the right including an integral bolster and one fully Damascus knife, not sure I'll do that again....
