Kids , what they know about carbides ..... They will just take sandpaper and sand them down

Guys , I work on this false edge/top clip whatever it is ...Did you sharpen that part to shaving sharp ...... if yes is there secondary edge or not ? If not sharp how thick I need to leave that part of spine ?

Hi Natlek, probably depends somewhat on if it's legal in the region...Personally I like them pretty thin and "ready to sharpen", but I've not sharpened one myself cause you never know where it will end up in the world. The blade looks great, love the profile... don't forget to show it off when yer done.

Working on a knife for a friend that's a baseball coach. School colors are Brown and Yellow so I used Mesquite and and Osage Orange with natural micarta pins. Black liners and spacers. Steel is Nichols Damascus, boomerang pattern.

a little rehandling .....I was not happy with the carbon

so I decided to try something different
I sanded carbon flat and added complex scales to him

the result is obvious
