neat the tools they have these days such as lasers and such where if you can draw it or even someone else's designs can be put onto just about anything - nice jobMike Bond did the one on the left with a laser i believe...I did the one on the right, it's engraved by hand with chisels and then anodized.
Yeah, lasers can do some amazing stuff these days but the still can't give you the look and feel of something hand cut with chisels.neat the tools they have these days such as lasers and such where if you can draw it or even someone else's designs can be put onto just about anything - nice job
It's like having your own little personal AC unit. They are great!!Last weekend, I spent a lot of time at the grinder in the South Carolina heat and humidity, and I poured what seemed like a couple ounces of sweat out of my half mask respirator at the end. That sent me over the edge and I went ahead and ordered a 3M TR-600. It arrived today. I've only used it very briefly, but I think I'm going to like it.
I hope it will help a bit with the heat. I tried it out earlier this evening and while it was not exactly cool, it felt pretty pleasant. That is a fine unit, sir. And it will certainly help with the heat with that cooled air blowing over your head and face. Make sure and get the prefilter/cover setup to save the expensive Org/Gas filter.
I realy like this one.I'm working on replicating a TL-29 knife which is taking a lot of trial and error, so I took a little break to make something more comfortable: Wharncliffe trapper in MagnaCut, Brazilian Rosewood, and brass.

Working on an assortment of pieces. The first is Shiro2 with 22 layer suminagashi cladding I picked up at bladeshow. The second is a small carving/detail knife with a hamon and the last one is 375 layer 8670+15N20 Damascus with a leather sheath from Popsknifesupply.
Burnt orange micarta from Pops, it’s one of my favorite color options.Nice! What is the micarta on the bottom one?
