Well, that went way better than expected. 
It might be hard to see in the pictures, but there was a very clear winner in the project. The Diablo 7.25” 40 tooth finish/plywood blade easily did the best. It cut the smoothest, left the best finish, has a .059” kerf, and best of all…. They only cost $14 a pop! It even felt the safest since it didn’t grab the Micarta like some of the other blades did (use clamps!!!).
I had to make a couple passes since the Micarta was a little bit too thick/blades are too small, but that can be mostly avoided in the future by making a jig.
From here on out, I’ll be using the Diablo 40 tooth circular saw blade in my miter saw and table saw for Micarta up to 2” - 2.5” thick.
I’m going to give it a go on stabilized wood next.
