Looks perfect for a turkey hunt

Just an update. I was able to get some 10v since someone in the states restocked.

Once i get a 240mm gyuto im working on done and sold in the next few days (hopefully). I will be able to get some more liquid nitrogen, and do some coupons, then heat treat some stuff ive neen waiting to do.

Nice pattern, liking that handle shape!
Thank you. I had an idea of trying a smaller 3 finger Loveless Lawndale model style, but will see how it turns out.

The tanto version is due to me blowing out the edge due to a miss judgement while grinding. So it has become my tester on finishing M390.

Finally got some shop time!

Did some more AmeraGrip handles for Current Composites! Both blue ones are AEB-L steel and the pink is some leftover S35VN I had heat treated around 8 years ago!

And the sheaths:

I had some 3/32" O-1 that I heat treated a while back that I have been meaning to make a paring knife out of and I finally got around to it! 1/16" thick paring knives tend to be flexy and I wanted a solid feeling paring knife with a stiff spine, but super thin and slicey, but a longer, slim handle, so I did this as a 3.5" blade and a full length handle. Handle material is some wood laminate that Current made a long time ago that was in their warehouse. They used to make it for gun grips, but stopped and are thinking of making it again. Solid coloring, less obvious layers visible and is harder than DymaLux or SpectraPly. This is their "rosewood" color, I have some Walnut and some black to play with as well when I get some time!

And the receipt slicey test! I want to make sure the blade will cut cleanly at least twice the blade length and be a nice smooth cut! This is my standard sharpness test, other than shaving arm hair.
