Handles prepped, time to grind me some blades.
Also, the carbon fiber was very annoying. I do everything freehand and by eye, so getting the dry fit just right was fiddly work. A real pain in the assembly.

15N20. This was something Jarod had lying around when he was about to ship me a previous run of my designs and commissions he plasma cut and heat treated for me in AEBL. I asked if he had any blanks already heat treated that were in limbo and offered to take any. This is one. His design but I modded the handle profile slightly. It is for a gentleman who would like it with thin ebony scales and a boltaron sheath. I’ve only gotten partway through the 36 grit initial bevelling.

I have not been so excited for a long time, when I put this in the oven, the anticipation was fantastic I really enjoyed it. Real butterflies in the tummy!
Pic is out of temper, I hope it stays like that in polishing, I will be well happy!
