Kitchen set in Magnacut.

This stag hunter is just about ready to go. The blade is AEBL, and the handle is whitetail stag with a brass button guard. The spacers are Gl0, brass, and desert iron wood.

Wanted to try one with a longer handle. So I cut off the guard and butt, slimmed it down as much as I could without rendering it weak and slipped it into a micarta frame with oak scales. I like it.

I also start to work on this one , big one .Beautiful piece of walnut . I will pay special attention. I have already made a mistake that I cannot forgive myself !!!! .I ground too much part of the edge at the ricasso !!!

You know what I really hate ? You grind nice and LIGHT blade and then you add guard which weight 2/3 of blade .... ??? Well , holes lot of them make guard lighter . The butcher will pay dearly ... for every hole, meat for one lunch for five
