I rarely post what I am doing in the shop, but here are some throwing axes I am doing. There is also a shot of some of the commercial Pro axes I throw.
That little hawk throws like a dart and sticks from either side. One shot is of a few of the best throwers in the group. The chart is how I dial in the rotation period of each axe.
Most are made from re-worked Ace Hardware 1.5# heads. There are about 20 more in the works.

This axe I call the "H". I did it in Ukrainian colors and it is in honor of my friend Gen. Hennadiy Kovalenko ... who goes by H. It is wicked accurate and has perfect rotation. Look how deeply it imbeds in the target with only a light throw.
I'd send him and his troops a crate of these if it wasn't nearly impossible.

I have only done one full tang bolstered knife. Decided it was time to do a few more. Tapered tang, dovetailed, 416 pinned/peened bolsters. This is number 2 (3 is off camera.)

Decided to do the glue up of each scale individually. glue up, cure, drill, glue other, drill, cure, installl corbies/lanyard, finish.

Welp, I knew this was going too smoothly. the other bolstered boot knife had an ...issue. The bottom corby had a hole that was drilled to deep and showed through after contouring. Drilled it out and decided to replace it with a decorative mosaic pin, I think it will actually look cool, but that was 45 minutes that could have been used for something else.
