  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's going on in your shop? Show us whats going on, and talk a bit about your work!

This is my first dagger/double edged blade I've done. I'm doing a hollow grind on the blade, and hopefully will get some engraving done on the ricasso area. I've also been trying out wet grinding for the first time, and I'm honestly loving it (besides having to clean up the water splashing everywhere.
Any comments are appreciated!

First post in a while, it has been a busy year. This a camp knife with maple burl scales, forged from 1095 steel. I added an ivy pattern on the spine with offsetting black epoxy. The sheath is stamped cowhide. I tried to mix yellow and range tan dies to get close to the handle's tone but the color didn't come out quite as intended. Commission by a friend's family for Christmas.

The style is a bit different from the camp knives I normally make, but I think I'll be using this shape more in the future.

I like the file work and nice clean tooling on the sheath. Well done.

Last one of this year, though the sheath will have to wait.

The bolster has been 3d printed, no issues with porosity or hard spots or anything that I could noticed (topic discussed here: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/3d-printed-stainless-bolster.2011858/).

First attempt at a Loveless inspired drop point. My one concern is if my guard is too shallow/short. Obviously got to clean up and make it look pretty.
Natural Canvas micarta, blue fiber liner.
14C28N blade at ~ 63 Rc. Loveless bolts and GFlex epoxy attach scales. Brass guard silver soldered and pinned.
