Also, what's your experience with buffalo horn as full tang scales, isn't buffalo horn famous for being unstable? Haven't worked much with it yet.. are those brass pins mechanical fasteners?
no experience. first time. however they are bonded to g10 liners and yes i used brass corby bolts

It's been a slow start to the knife year but here's a camper in progress. 5/32" NitroV with Blackheart and Padauk, black and yellow accents. It 10 3/5" OAL.
 
This was my latest and largest commission to date. The amount I failed at, retried, failed again to finally get something presentable cant be measured.

its a sword and dagger set done as a CuMai. The sheath is mounted to the scabbard and the scabbard is intended to be mounted to a saddle.
