Added to the hopefully out on Friday pile. Gotta love the look of classic OD canvas micarta and brass. Especially on a cute little knife like this one.

Today was going to be sheath day but I ended up spending a bunch of time organizing materials and prepping for the pending builds. Plus I revamped the way the light is set up at the back. Still not perfect but the shop is much more efficiently set up for staging materials now.



I did get a few blades profiled and handle scales cut as well.




Then I got sidetracked a few minutes ago with a sheet of Boltaron on the griddle for a Barowie and left it too long. It has shrunk below the size of the knife. That’s a good place to call it a night.

looks like a productive day, minus shrinking the boltaron sheet....

Easy fix! Pop the Barowie on the griddle for a few extra minutes to shrink it down to match the bolatron sheet. Boom, science!

Metal expands when hot put it in the freezer or better yet send it my way -32f again this morning

I can still use it, just on smaller knives.

All but the tip right corner that melted a bit.




Good thing 16 1 x 2 foot sheets arrived this week.
