What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

I thought it obvious the suggested clip doesn’t allow for tip down, but that was me assuming. Sorry for the confusion.

Deep pocket clips are deeply confusing to me .

The clip is still obviously showing ! Like a cat " hiding" under a couch ...with his whole tail stuck out . 😼

Anyone concerned about you carrying a knife is going to assume that's what the clip is mounted on .

Plus those clips just make it hard and slow , to draw the knife .

Not bad , but your clip is too loose fitting in the pocket for my carry ...and still slower than the wave method . 🖖

My knife is open already , barely clear of the pocket . Open , locked and ready to cut .

Yours is still closed . Tactically unsound and vulnerable . Can't cut and can be blocked , smothered or grabbed .

Is this a practical concern normally ? Nope , but could be critical in an emergency or SD situation . 🤷‍♂️
 
DocJD DocJD I don’t like fiddling with my pocket when I have work to do. I expect to never use it in a defensive manner. But it’s definitely not slow or hard to take out. And I’m not forced to take it out ready to cut. With a wave I would be. So this way I get the option to not have to brandish a knife.

Shelter underground if possible . Otherwise , sturdy room , no windows .

I waited out a close call once in a gas station toilet stall . Nearly did scare the crap outta me !

I've heard of surviving in a bathtub with mattress overtop , etc .

You can, with practice , draw any waved knife without opening . Then open manually . As slow and quiet as is necessary .

You actually do not absolutely have to give a loud battle cry and wave out as hard as possible every time ! :p

That would be awkward .
 
let's hope it's the system being super way over cautious.....thats how it is here. if not be safe David. hurricanes typically don't scare me, tornados do.......
