What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

Absent mindedly, I took off my neck knife and gave it a twirl by the cord. The sheath grew instantly lighter and a tiny thunk sounded, without the expected clatter of micarta and steel on stone.

And then there it lay safe at the end of its flight.

Looking closer at it since I haven't done any work to it since a regrind after lots of resharpening.

I'm going to try it like this plus a bit of sanding sponge action now and see if I like this better. It no longer has as full a handled grip. It is rounder and I like this direction ergonomically. I shied away at first wondering about rolling in the hand on hard cuts. Soon the wondering will be ended.
