You all post some really good looking, and I’m sure, good tasting meals. I’m usually in the “minimal cooking tools and shovel it down” mode and aesthetics usually take a far back seat. Though this may still look like something of questionable origin, I’m rather proud of its looks and taste - two fried eggs, a dozen oysters, minced garlic, flakey hot pepper sauce, habanero salt, and grated Parmesan cheese. Feel free to look away and pinch your nose. . Mike

I’ve been living under a rock, having never seen this culinary masterpiece!

Fried (generally on a poboy), raw, chargrilled or oyster dressing are the 4 main food groups when it comes to oysters.

Around the world, apparently. Got to try it from a street vendor while traveling in Malaysia (and when I say street vendor, this guy was on a BICYCLE, with a small stove and icebox mounted on a rack on the back, riding around at 6a.m.).

I did discreetly ask the host if it was ‘safe’, and he replied, “I’ve had it many times, and I’m still fine”.

I’m guessing the spices/seasoning are probably different, but it did make for an amazing breakfast, and was really tasty.

Redneck Pizza

I used a powdered pizza crust mix that was in the pantry, Krogers pizza sauce and I chopped up leftover chicken, leftover bacon, mushrooms, green olives, onion, tomato and a couple large slices of pepperoni, and then topped with monterey jack cheese. Its friggen delicious!

The wife is doing 24 hour shifts every other day caring for an elderly lady that was moved into her daughter's home for assistance. Last night she went into their fridge and cupboards looking for something to feed the woman but came up with nothing the woman liked. My wife had to order food for delivery. The daughter and family are vegans and the mother is not and doesn't like the food that they have at the house.

I whipped this up so the wife wouldn't have to order out tomorrow night.
I hope old girl likes some goulash more than tofu!
