Just catching up posting pics of various meals over the past 2-3 wks or so . . .

A 1.5# 1.5" thick NY Steak that I grilled for dinner last night:

This is what the steak, looked like to start with; cut it myself from a slab that I bought at Costco:

Avocado Toast & a glass of 21st Amendment IPA:

A pretty salad that was the prequel to the Grilled Octopus that follows:

A 1/2 Dozen Grilled Oysters with a Green Salad & a pint of a forgettable draft beer:

Menudo con Pata with a big mug filled w/2 bottles of Modelo Negra:

Didn't "celebrate TG today but pics of the turkey that I roasted a couple of weeks ago can be found above in Post #4463 on Page 224.

Last nights turkey. It was the first time my oldest daughter got to check out the FK3, she’s a knife lover as well. It did well cutting up the turkey. The turkey came out perfect!

Just some sweet corn cut off the cob. Ended up with a lot of food this year, but we have pretty much finished off all the leftovers now.

Back to the basics for breakfast today.

Smoked turkey, pulled pork stuffed potato skins, mashed potatoes with sausage gravy, salad, green beans, cranberry, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie, blah blah blah... Coffee, wine, Tea, Colorado sippin whiskey, with a REK Ember 2.5 and Horsewright Rodeo for my dinner knives.

Gave Cold Smoking a try and now I’m hooked!!!!

Had about 3 hours of smoke left soooo I smoked some Sea Salt….daum fine!!!!

Decided to finally break down this 8# bone-in ham that I bought for 87 cents/# a few weeks ago:

Used my newly purchased Spyderco Waterway to debone it cleanly:

Still have to seal & freeze the results for later consumption which I'll do later today.

These are pics of the 2 Martini lunch that I had the day after TG at the Town House Restaurant at the Wine & Roses Hotel & Spa in Lodi, CA . . .

A tiny portion of a very tasty tomato soup w/the BEST grilled cheese sandwich that I've ever eaten:

The booze cost 4x's as much as the food. LOL!

I drove home safely after the meal.
