What's that you're eating?

Panko onion rings?

They look delicious!!

There's a place here that fresh cuts the onions and batters them in beer batter fit every order

They are fantastic clean bite everytime through batter and onion !

No pulling the onion through or batter falling off
Lol. Why is pulling the onion through so frustrating?!

I love onion rings no matter what, and probably wouldn’t know fresh from frozen anyway. These were a little salty for me if I’m being honest but the onion flavor and breading texture was amazing. I thought the “truffle emulsion” was odd and a bit overpowering. I know from past experience that I’m just not much of a truffle fan. They were served very hot!

There’s one place in town that I think does them better but these might be a runner-up. 😋

I quit Schwans home food service because of their price, the new salesman looked like he was casing the house…and Orion pull through! It’s Madness!

Reheated Chinese take-out for lunch.

Some cha siu (bbq pork) chow mein, 1 cha siu bow & 3 ha gow (shrimp dumplings). Added some extra cha siu to the chow mein because they never give you enough.

Just 10 mins in my mother's huge old steamer that can fit the entire plate in 1 of 2 tiers. A little soy sauce and Chinese (actually Coleman's) mustard on the side w/a glass of sauvignon blanc and dig in.

Yum!!! :)

Colman's mustard powder is no joke. Perfectly potent.

After 7 hrs of clearing snow at my cabin and getting drenched. Dry clothes and a hot stew was great. Cubed sirloin. Carrots, corn, bell pepper, russet potatoes, red and black pepper, garlic salt, basil, and season all in low sodium broth. The perfect meal to double bag and heat up in boiling water. Leaves no mess😀. Followed with a Cosmic crisp apple and mint medley tea. Only a slice of pecan pie would have made it better
