Close to 50 and I love milk. And cream. And butter. And cheese. Cultured is better. Cultured sweet butter is the best. Sour cream. Kefir. Yoghurt. And steak and more to boot! God's blessed cows!!!Yepper!! I'll be 50 this year and still love to drink milk!

It's German Week at my favorite grocer, Aldi, when they bring in some items from The Fatherland for a limited time. Here was my haul:
Ok, the salsa isn't German. But it's only for a limited time, too, and it's darn good for salsa from a jar.
The pork schnitzel is German restaurant quality. The Donauwelle and Strudel are sinful. They were already out of the Bienenstich, or I would have purchased that, too. And I already have plenty of kraut, so I passed on that even though the price was excellent.

That is very impressive. I have read some recipes and it looks tricky to make, so I haven't even attempted it. Good job!

Wish I could take credit...we went out to eat for my birthday. It's my favorite dish at a local place, and they sent us a $30 off birthday deal. This time they kinda skimped on the lobster, but has shrimp and scallops too.
