What's the best deal you've ever gotten in a knife?

Not a knife but, I got a American Tomahawk Co. LaGana Tomahawk (VTAC) and the Emerson CQC-T Tomahawk both new/unused for $125.
 
Cold Steel Magnum Tanto IX, VG-1 San Mai III in perfect condition for 100$, knife owner was moving out from my country and he needed money :)
 
I ordered a couple custom knives from a knife maker here and ended up getting a very nice 3V knife with leather sheath for $75.
 
Here are six that I can recall:

1. Kit Carson Custom model 16 for $25
2. Frank Centofante folder for $200 (I let it go for $700...)
3. Microtech Vector for $90
4. NIB Spyderco Southard for $135
5. Strider SMF for $250
6. Carbon Fiber MT UTX-70 for $100
 
I bought an excellent condition reg large Seb on the exchange once for $200.
 
I got a 270mm konosuke fujiyama w2 gyuto for $195.00 because they sent it instead of sujihiki. Mark offered it at half price so I took it.
 
It wasn't a knife, but I ended up getting a custom leather sheath made in kydex with a request to make it fit my Army rigger's belt, and he called me for my belt dimensions. We ended up chatting for a while and I was talking about liking the leatherwork and additions he added to his kydex sheaths. He ended up saying, "Oh, you like 'em? No problem." I was quick to reply, "No, sir. I cannot afford that right now. I'll contact you when I can." He chuckled, "No...I mean, no problem"

Real nice guy.

All were in new or like new condition except the three baiisong deal. Those were well used. I'll bet there are others as well. I'll have to look back thru my stuff.
 
Traded a Schrade sharpfinger for a NIB Military. It was to a guy in Czechoslovakia and he was tickled pink to show his hunting buddies a vintage Schrade. I paid $32 for the Schrade in a PX.

I paid $148 for my Cruwear Mili brand new from the dealer and will that may not be earth shattering, considering some dealers are asking $219, I think I did well.

I have a local dealer that sometimes has stuff that is rare or discontinued and they mark them down to get rid of them, most people pass them by but I have gotten some decent deals that way.

I'd say a moonglow manix for $150.00.. had "buyers remorse" since I already had 2 and listed it on eBay..
 
Picked up a brand new box elder Mnandi for just under $300 last week. I also inherited a beautiful, antique Queen peanut if that counts.

Man, I'm going to have to start checking Craigslist for knives...
