What's the BEST KNIFE DEAL You Ever Got?

A 1984 50th Anniversary Skinner by Steve Morseth - near mint - for $150.00. I had no idea how much the knife was worth.

There's a Busse I can't talk about for a ridiculously low price, and recently I bought an Emerson SOCFK-A for $100 delivered - after my brother and I both ordered one they raised the closeout price to $140...

Just picked up 2 nib commanders off an ebay merchant for 99 bucks apiece plus shipping. One of them has the super thick liner lock on it. The other is the normal thickness. Both are superb and shipping super fast. This was a good deal for sure. Also a nib gray ti bump I think it is called and a Segal folder nib for less than 150 bucks shipped for both from another vendor. keepem sharp

I've found some great deals at pawnshops before, but they're rather hit or miss. Nine times out of ten that I go in, I leave empty-handed.

gently-used CRKT aluminim-handled Mirage...........$13

gently-used BM MiniGrip....................................$14

CRKT M16-13T (titanium scales).........................$15

dirty, but like-new SOG Flash II..........................$20

like-new BM AFCK folder (liner-lock version)..........$20±

My favorite to carry is the MiniGrip, but the AFCK was probably the best deal.

I got a really nice stag handled swing guard auto...for free.
Stupid kid in Newark NJ left it sticking through the back (from the inside...close call) of my leather jacket. After convincing him that leaving the situation immediately was in his best interest, he thoughtfully left his knife dangling from the jacket as he ran away.

Was cruisin' through Gander mountain today and picked up a Buck 181 w/ ATS-34 BOS for $20!!!:) The knife hade been marked down 4 times from $50.00. Sweet Deal

TAK-1 D2 for $74 at cumberland.com. The owner hasn't raised his price of D2 for a long time. I couldn't find it for any less anywhere.

A few years ago,,,,,last day almost closing time at a knife show, I was wandering arround and stopped at a Randall dealers table,,picked up a small 4" knife and looked at the $350 price tag and politely put it back.

As I walked down to the next few tables,,,,a dealer who was watching me,,,called me over and stated he had not sold anything all weekend and if I wanted a new small Randall,,,,,,he really needed to pay his hotel bill,,,,etc. I said well give me a price,,,,,$100 for a new Randall Model 5, 4 inch blade, carbon steel and stag. The sheath had never been used and was mint.

I sold it a few months later for a very nice profit.

Regards,
FK

And I though I was a bargain shopper! Some of you guys have really struck gold.

Here are a few of my best buys:
Ek Bowie (Effingham), closeout for $30
Camillus 6" CUDA CQB, closeout for $30
Two customs from Don Hanson III, $150 and $125

And each time I buy a mint Bruckmann for $20-$30, I feel like I've won the lottery. It's happened about 15 times so far.

Most recent bargains, a bunch of closeout SAKs, $1.99 - $3.99 each

I recently bought a Microtech Trodoon from a E-Bay auction for $260.00 shipping was $5.00. This came days after Blade magazine arrived with a dealer advertising it for $410.00. Mine is Black double edge serrated. Works like a swiss watch. Sharpest blade out of the box I have ever owned.
The seller included a note saying please enjoy the FREE blade included.
It is a Benchmade 3550 Mel Pardue switchblade. Both brand new in the box.
I got both knives for only $260..00 I feel I got a great deal.
Viva E-Bay!!!

Peace.
