whats the most you ever paid for a knife?

Just spent $110 on an EDCF Moonglow Manix. Now that I've passed the $100 barrier I'm eyeing the ZT0550 :eek:
 
Jen(my wife) I told you I paid 20 bucks for that Strider.You don't have to join bladeforums , make up fake screen names,and make 86 posts to try to trick me into telling you the truth .....um umm.I mean I never lie to you.......

I know the feeling, first it started with some SOG's, then my gf bought me a ritter grip, and monday I bought my first high end knife..I bought a small sebenza..

so my most is 350$ so far
 
I spent $90 on my Griptilian and $90 on my KA-BAR. I will be spending more when I order the custom grip and the Adama folder.
 
It was $500 until I just spent a bit over a grand. I don't drink, smoke, go to bars or go out much. I like spending time with my family and my few hobbies.

My problem is not spending too much on one but wanting to buy everyone I see that I like. I've bought 5 new knives already this year & it's only Feb. I have a blade fetish !!
 
I'm new to actually collecting but I have been completely obsessed with them since I was a kid but up until the other day the most I had personally spent was 50-60 bucks then I picked up an axis flipper for $125.:) However my pops did get me the best 19th birthday present ever last year a BM Auto AFO II!(Coated Drop point/combo edge) I was quite literally speechless.

I'm with you on that. I got a PM2 at $134.00 two weeks ago, so that is my new "the most I ever spent" story.
 
I've spent over $400 a few times (DKW Sandshark, CK&T Brend auto, Scarab), but they've all been sold. The most I spent on a knife that I still have is $275 on a Benchmade 940Ti-01.
