What's the sharpest knife you ever owned?

I think this Spyderco Para 2 Sprint is the sharpest that I've ever received, very sharp out of the box.

currently my flat-ground endura in zdp 189. can split hair either way out-of-the-box, made even sharper on my glass slab.
 
Has to be may latest, Falkniven PXL Work Horse,a great knife for sure.
 
The sharpest out the box was a Fallkniven A1, that thing was bloodthirsty.

The dullest out the box was a Becker BK-2, after 10 minutes on a stone it was nasty sharp.
 
I remember my Fällkniven S1 when I got it a couple of years ago. Man, that thing was crazily sharp out of the box.
 
Sharpest out of the box was a custom Kephart by Big Chris. That said, even though I was impressed that he would go through the trouble of putting a good edge on the knife, I actually don't care anymore what the edge of a knife I buy looks like out of the box (except if it's truly egregious, like the bevels are wildly different and the edge not centered - that means a lot of work for me correcting the edge). I don't care because I always assume first that the edge is not going to be anywhere near as good as the edge I can put on it.

If you know how to sharpen your knives and correct edge problems, all that really matters out of the box is the quality of the geometry and heat-treat. A nice edge out of the box is just a bonus.

I think the sharpest ootb knives I ever got are a tie between a old CS Kobun and a Spyderco Moran with the upswept tip. Can't say I've ever gotten a scary sharp folder from any company - decently sharp, yes, many, but scary - no.
 
buck 119. that knife gets crazy sharp after 15 minutes on a sharpmaker. Ive put my edc on the WEPS and I cant get it nearly as sharp. I do think that I need the ceramic WEPS stones though.
 
Sharpest knife i've ever seen or owned out of the box: Mora "Triflex" and it didnt even come in a box lol...
For some reason, my (carbon steel) moras get sharper than anything i own with the least effort. Even better than my Aus-8 stuff too!
 
Out of my small collection,I would have to say the ESEE4.
It won't whittle hair,but it's shErp...my sharpest so far.

Man...I can't wait to accidently cut myself with the Paramili2.
 
bm MPR in m390 is the sharpest knife i have ever seen out of the box but honestly all my new bm's seem to be shaving sharp out of box.
 
Hands down, Chris Reeve Knives. Out of dosens Ive never had one that did not come "WOW" sharp. The only other stand out is how dull most Benchmades have been out of the box. As far as sharpening and quickly getting a great edge I've never had any surprises. Touch ups are fairly painless & dull to super sharp always takes some time.
