The day I got my old Shin ZDP I actually shaved with it. Not the best geometry for it, but it was still one hell of a clean shave
I miss that knife a lot...but a good friend of mine loves it ever since he bought it from me, so I guess it's all good. I don't really want to shell out that kind of money again though

One day... either when I strike it big, or catch a terminal illness!

Edit: I also had a Chris Reeve Project 1 that was real sharp. Someone previously referred to an edge as "sticky". I get that. You lay the edge on your skin, and it just sinks in. Like its stuck in you. That's what I consider sharp. :thumbup:

763, 7063 and 9063.
The small 2112 series with thin blades are amazingly sharp but the 9063 is just something else, sharpest I've had out of the box, and I've had a lot.
Second comes any number of Opinels and Hultafors.

Svoird Deluxe range. Give any carbon blade a forced vinegar patina, drip dry, resharpen & it'll be sharper than before.

BRKT Canadian Special in A2. The leather sheath that came with the knife was a bit too small; the first time I put the knife in the sheath, the blade hit the reinforcing on the stitched edge, turned slightly upward and sliced through the thick leather and all the way across the palm of my hand. I didn't even realize that I had been cut or how deep it was until I saw the blood dripping on the floor. Bark River sent me a new sheath but the hand was out of warranty.

The sharpest blade I've ever seen was a lightsaber this guy Old Ben gave me back when I still lived on Tattooine. Apparently it belonged to my dead father, or so he said. Not sure if it technically qualifies though since I'm pretty sure its a custom job

In all seriousness I would have to go with the Emerson Super Commander I just picked up. Any sharper and it would split the atom as I wave it in the air.

MCusta Yoroi, out of the box sharpness was literally shaving sharp. Not a few hairs popping, literally every hair in its way
