  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's your Cold Steel EDC today?

Pretty nice little compact /easy carry size Holdout .

Lot of SD and utility potential , for such a small package . 😎 :thumbsup::thumbsup:
I ve been carrying the Hold Out 3 for more than a year now, in addition to my bigger work knife rotation which generally have 3.5-4.0 inch blades. This is the first time I vet carried two knives in all the years I ve carried folders. I started carrying the Hold Out as a knife I could easily use around others without getting unfavorable attention. Particularly since I ve gravitated more to 4'' work knives in recent years. I find that I m using the 3 inch hold out for 90% of my work. I cuts and slices better than most of the knives I ve ever had. And it s a very strong little knife. And with the thin grind as well as the steel treatment, it holds an edge extremely well.

I wonder why the 4 inch model Holdout is no longer available.

When in bandit country, my folder choice for SD/ER is this Pro Lite. Very capable blade.

And always an EDC knife for utility - my SD/ER blades are never used, always sharp, always ready to go.

I would love both of those versions equally. Those serrated pro lites had nicely done serrations, significantly better than the tiny teeth they typically use.

That looks like David Mary Customs mod , regrind SE ? 😍

Looks great ! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
I’ll speak for him because I was part of the process. No, not David Mary. It was a plain jane flat grind Spartan, and he had the serrations done by Tom Veff.
