What's your favourite knife/knives in 5"-7" range?

Me too. Didn't give it a second thought in Op2W but having recently picked one up in INFI it's the mutt's nuts.

Axe Hammer-light, slicey and sexy
Ash 1 (.22)-All around great knife
Ergo Steel Heart-I know its a touch over 7 inches but it's a great one knife option

I have a gso 6 on pre-order but wont arrive for probably another year.
And while Infi is possibly the toughest steel there is, Survive's 3v seems to be a very close second.

Like everyone i enjoy the tglb alot
But those SMD & SJTAC are also a sight for sore eyes

I also recommend this. And for my combo, neither are Busse's. But for a do it knife i would say any of Busse's big choppers or a TGLB. If you really want to stick between 5 and 7 inch, go for a Ratmandu/INFIdu/Swatmandu
 
Muffler off an excavator. About as thick as a dime. Tough shizzat.

I have posts of it slicing up frying pans and bulldozer engine gaurds too!

Does anyone know roughly or could estimate the price of a swatmandu & SJTAC in infi from the custom shop? (I know its not open now & that handle scales etc can change the price. Just looking for a rough estimate thanks).

As a point of reference, combat grade is INFI. I think you're referring to "Battle Grade," which is SR101. Or maybe sometime in the past was SR77?? But anyway, NOT INFI.

Also, while you're correct the custom shop isn't open, I also believe the SWATmandu, or SJTAC, is not available anymore at all except on the secondary market. Unless I'm mistaken. In which case, I'll be racing you to buy them out! :victorious:
