I showed my Marine Pearl 3 5/16" J.Primble/Belknap/Hdw.&Mfg. Co. 4 blade Serpentine Stockman in a post here a few weeks ago. Now i have it's brother, same knife but dressed in jigged bone.
This pair of Pristine Beauties may have been made by Camillus, but i doubt anyone will mind my showing it here.
I do not think those knives were made by Camillus! I would say they were made by Schrade.
The "Swinden key System" was used to make those knives.
Main Blades look like Pre.1973 "Schrade made Buck 301" blades .. Ken
GREAT SET ROLAND!!!Those are some beauties Roland! Definitely not Swinden, looks more like Ulster (especially that big clip), maybe 1950's? Pretty unusual seeing a four blade serpentine. Schrade had one back in the Cut.Co. days as well, but the clip had a nail nick, not a long pull.
Nice snags 357!

Looks like signs of a pivot pin on the right side of the first picture.
I was referring to the Primble knives, thinking that they were not built with the "Swinden key System".Sir, are you referring to my picture of the 6OT, or to the other gentleman's picture? Yes, my knife does have a pivot pin. I don't know much about these, so I don't know the rarities yet.

But yes your 6OT does have a pivot pin showing, but the pin in your 285UH is concealed behind the blosters.. made with the "Swinden key System".
And that was good buy on those knives for sure.
Thanks Rick
