Honestly, none of them were listed for more than 10 seconds, I got in on the action as the knives were listed BIN and just sat there like a chicken on a June Bug. :D

I missed on 3 others.

Hal, you have been "King of the Super Deal" for a long time, but maybe it's a secret ? it's no fluke 'cause you find the incredible deals all the time.
congratulations man, those are all fantastic and add to your "living library" of mint Schrades showing nearly all the variations with correct box/paperwork.

great job--feels like seeing that monster 10 point in your scope and having to wait for him to walk out in the clear------------brady

You're right about that Copenhagen Dave, that's real nice, Sharp looker!

At the suggestion of Navihawk,

You should post it ovewr to the "whats your latest schrade" thread. Everyone likes eye candy.

Can't miss another pic showing.

Schrade-Walden 863. with Sabre Cut main blade.

Well it's not fancy, but totally unused: 4" Premium Stockman: John Primble/Belknap/HDW.&MFG.CO. with nice Primble shield and etch.

seller is long time knowledgeable Schrade collector, said made by either Ulster or Schrade(Walden/Cut Co)

i really like the Gent's type knives, like this 3 1/8" sunfish lobster knife; Schrade/Walden/NY USA 865 with neat Chrysler Corp shield.

the blades are stained, but factory edge and perfect walk/talk/snap.

That lobster is a beaut Roland. Especially that shield. I had one of those in pearl. I kick myself now for letting it go. The stains on the blades just add to the character.

Thanks Hal, sure looks the same. that flyer is "Ulster Knife Company" so it 'should' be pre '41 as just "Ulster Knife" +/-(USA) post '41. but it says
1960 !

Here is my latest Schrade.
Half of a X48S set, circa 1971. I have a 147S to match it, just need the sheath for the knife that will clip on the hatchet sheath. It came with the hatchet sheath. No stamping on the hatchet.

Dale

Here are the pics of the sheath. It is in surprisingly good condition.

Quite the minty find Dale! Congrats!! You rarely find those in that kind of shape, heck you rarely find those in any shape.:thumbup:

That's a "Cherry" hatchet Dale!;) Nice find!!
Just stay away from my fruit trees!!
This just came in the mail, in a trade with one of our fellow Schraders. It is undoubtedly Schrade made, IMO. It would be an "1153 1/2 SHACKLE" if it were a Schrade Cut. Co. As you can see, the Shackle is missing, and I would say 95 percent of them are missing. It's rare to find one still on the knife.
I don't know much about A. Field & Co, or the trade name PROGRESS.
Goins says Alfred Field & Co. had American, Sheffield and German links, and operated 1855 to 1942. WWII probably put an end to A. Fields. A guess would put this knife in the late 1930s, given that it looks like a Schrade Cut, and from the later bone style.
