Guyon, Very nice selection of stockmans. Buck 303 looks like the one of the earlier Camillus made ones. (marked only on master blade; Schrade made ones marked on all blades). am i right ?

Yes indeed some nice stockman knives. I've seen the one in position one of the first column before, that Schatt green worm grooved bone that I really like. Roland, you are correct on the Buck 303.

:thumbup:great groups!! another blue one-alright!! way to go guyon:thumbup:
;)thawk your observation of the old delrin is right on, my 58ot is dark reddish also. looking at guyons knives i cant help but see the variations in all the delrin in the ot AND the uh's. i have the same in mine as well. in fact i got a 12ot a couple of years ago and the delrin is almost a uniform beige color. it took me awhile to convince myself is was authentic.

Great finds Jackie! Fantastic etch on the Ted Williams, as well as that tungsten carbide edge:thumbup::thumbup:

I wonder if that blood groove (also known as a Fuller's Groove) was a special order from Sears. I know they sometimes tweaked the Schrade knives to make them more unique.

Another (sigh) LB 7. This one is a 4 pin, serial# 3339. This would place it in the first month and maybe the first week of production, in late 1977, according to Michael L's figures. It's not here yet. This is my first LB 7, except for a burlwood drop point with Copenhagen etch.

Nice pick-up on that VERY early LB7! And how about a pick of that Drop point with the Cope etch? I've never seen one of those!

And Jackie, as usual, NICE!

TR, man you are lucky i am absent-minded at times. in my search for the "holy grail" of LB 7s, 0001, or as close as i can get, i was watching that knife and intended to win with a last second bid. Duhhhh, but i forgot.
excellent score ! wanna trade ?

Got a sweet deal today on a model #899 open stock . This is my first Schrade with a Turkish clip blade. Nice looking addition to the knife! Dale H.

Hey KWIM, the 899 is a favorite of mine too. smallish knife, not pocket bulky, the very effective Turkish clip, and with a punch blade, which i find handy, as sometimes you need to pry or poke, which you should never do with the tip of a regular blade.
sounds like you're just getting started. wait 'til you find out that Schrade made "millions" of different knives & patterns. i still get that special feeling when i come across and 'win' a new-to-me Schrade.

Roland, Just sitting here with the knife in hand and my morning cup of coffee. The Turkish clip is a stylish blade. The spey , well, not my favorite (only because I have a hard time getting an edge on the front of the blade). Only paid $6.00 for the knife though, and it's in great shape too. The blades have some stain on them, but very little wear otherwise. The punch looks as though it was never used. Dale H.

When Schrade put a Spey in the second position, it made that a very streamlined knife. Some of the 899's had a sheepsfoot there.

Here is a Craftsman 9488:

Sweet "Carpenter's Knife" eh ? pretty sure this is of Schrade-Walden vintage, making it the same as an 8041, which at $23 is a pretty good deal.
i have a lot of Craftsman and Sears folders, in part because they usually sell for less than the equivalent Schrade or Camillus.

Good find on the Carpenter knife Roland! I'm looking for a Schrade 804 with the peachseed jigged Delrin which is the cousin to your Craftsman.

Nice addition of the PH2 Brady.

Here are two new arrivals:

Keen Kutter K58OT made in between 1961 & 1966. from what I have found out.

to follow is a Schrade-Walden 880 Kon-Kav, NIT.

The earlier Schrade-Walden knives seem to have better build quality than later models. also more character, match strike pulls and more defined edges on the top of the blades.
