Fran, that knife turned out fantastic, great job Dale, on both of them!

Roland, nice HW!

Eric

Getting back to this thread after a while, a lot has happened! A tip of the hat to the knife improvers! Nice going Fran for commissioning it, and Dale for doing it, and Glenn for a brilliant save also. For Roland's "Herman" knife it's all been said! Nice!
After a long struggle through Canada customs, this Schrade Cut Co arrived yesterday. A bit worn, but snappy and intact, in trying to put a model number on it, I've come up with;
"2204 3/4 MOTS" , adding in a little modern parlance.:D Perhaps someone can yea or nay that one?

I think you hit that one right on, Charlie...

BTW, thanks for the kind words...

Glenn

Glenn, in my apparent incoherence at reading the posts, I thought it was Dale who did the easy open jack, sorry about that! Great job on the re-build, I really like that EO cut-out, looks like it came from the plant that way:thumbup:

Charlie, that's a fine 2204, first one I've seen in MOTS.

Thanks, I am but a humble apprentice who wishes he could fill Dale's shoes.:D Don't look too close, you'd see all my mistakes...

:D:D It's funny how sometimes an error is all but invisible to the observer, but looks like a wart on someone's nose to the artisan!:D:D
Looks great to me Glenn!!

Charlie, i'm pretty sure i have that same knife but without handle advertising.
it's in rough shape so is somewhere among about 300 other knives awaiting resuscitation. i'll look as soon as i can.

Love to see it Roland!

Wow, Larry! That's a beauty!

I was eyeing that, but am not a huge fan of the muskrat.

Those scales are awesome.

Those old true-Schrade employees are making beautiful knives!

Nice Larry! Looks like the new muskrat pattern:thumbup:

Here's a trio that I recently acquired, probably over the last month as buying has slowed down considerably:( . A couple of Cut. Co.'s and a Schrade manufactured Shapleigh:

Very good finds Eric! Nice all round, I like the bone handles on the Jack, far left.
