The only other markings I could find on any of the knives is the stamp on the other side of the master blade that has the year 1978, a dash, and a 1 or 2 digit number. For instance, the Johnny Muskrat knife has "1978-7" stamped on it.Pyg - Do the black sawcuts from have the Schrade stamp on the backside?
I absolutely love it! It appears to be the same knife as the Statue of Libery Commemerative.Pyg - Don't you just love the 124UH? Great pattern huh?
I did find that story. It was actually a post by Tennknifeman, Mr. Voyles. I am not sure if Schrade was the only knife maker to use this marking system for Parker Frost, since many makers made knives for Parker Frost.There's a story behind how those P-F Schrades came to be marked with both company names. it's in an old Codger post here somewhere. the "1978" refers to the year, so only these knives.
