Quoted! Yes. Schrade and Imperial were associated companies. They produced at different pricepoints. Knives were made for Parker by both. He didn't keep any supplier long. Or partner.yep, looks like parker.....he did work with schrade at one time didn't he?

Here is my latest Schrade Walden #766......Can anyone give me an idea when it was made?.
Schrade-Walden dates are 1947-1972. Your knife looks to be a very nice example. I have a good idea of the ebay price range but i am unsure if it is o.k. to discuss monetary value here.

I am waiting for this one in the mail, an 834.
It does not seem to conform to either the 896K nor the 898K for blades. It is not a punch blade; it appears to be a pen. Some non-catalog items drifted out of the factory over the years, including some so-called lunch-box knives made by employees for their own use.Do you have any thoughts to share about the pen blade/punch on that "898K" above? I think that is the first one that I have seen with that blade configuration. I have seen knives with that type of pointed blade before, where there is a blade like that for use as an awl for leather and such. Maybe just an odd ball?
I can't believe how nice Schrades version of a S.A.K. is, It looks to have some serious quality. Have you used it, or is it just for collection purposes?I also just picked up a Schrade Walden 906.
Some really nice knives here guys.

Thanks. I thought maybe you had seen one before or something. It's just another neat odd ball knife in my collection.
I notice that your new 834 has a different blade on it than usually seen, instead of a spey or sheep's foot. Nice!
Cal's red bone is typical of an 834 in 1954. The 833 had a sheepsfoot and pen blade. I'm not sure exactly when they changed.
Try this one

I realize it's before the company was Schrade Walden which wouldnt match the tang stamp thus the date made but that knife is almost an exact match to my eye.
In the immortal words of Shakespeare, To be, or not to be, used that is.I sure would like to use the 906, but not this one.
