What's your newest Buck knife

Well mine also came in. I think we hit the trifecta. I was worried it wouldn't make it in time for my birthday but it did. Sorry for the low grade pics but it has rained off and on all day long. Very cloudy so pics are from indoors. I hope to take better pics of her sometime. Thanks to @eveled for selling me a black distressed sheath.
Nickle/silver, Elk and 5160. That's a winning combination in my book!
Nice knife!
Happy Birthday! That's quite a present.👍

Uncle Timbo Uncle Timbo , yours turned out fantastic! Thank you for the compliment on mine as well and it’ll be a light user. I tend to carry just about all of my knives for a bit, rotating between them.

Wow! That looks great and Leroy did a great job matching the sides. Very nice knife!

In time, mine will become a user. I hope to have this one strapped to my side whenever I'm out in God's wild blue yonder. What better knife? I love carbon steel. I'm just an old hillbilly from WV. :)

Jsega51 that is perhaps the best Buck factory Ironwood I have seen on any 112 (and I look a lot) and is up there with ANY factory folder. Truly exhibition grade..

Thank you! I love the look but I’m loving the texture. It’s almost like they lightly sandblasted the scales to pop the grain out and then buffed them. I’m very happy with the results.

For whatever reason, I've always been a micarta or stacked leather person. The Elk on my latest 110 was a big bold step for me.
But I must admit, your ironwood is growing on me! :)

I have a few knives in micarta but the vast majority of my knife collection is all wood and antler. Kind of represents my love for the outdoors in a way!

You 'wood' think that after my being a carpenter for 25 + years, I'd want nothing but wood on my knives. But after I submerged my first Busse in a bed of caustic paint stripper, handles and all, the micarta slabs dried and never showed any sign they were in the stripper. Impervious to hard core strippers. That sold me. Here's my latest fixed blade. A David Mary Kephart in green micarta and carbon steel.

not a newest Buck, but I really like David's work and own a couple of his customs, so I give ya a pass😁

plus that is a fantastic version of a kephart. aebl or 8670 or magnacut or some other steel?

Thank you. It's 8670 and the only reason I posted it was because of the micarta slabs.

David and Cindy stopped by on the way home from the Blade Show and gifted me a Blade Show award 112 one of them received at the Show. A 50th anniversary brass Ebony finger grooved it has a "Blade Show Award 2022" blade etch. I also got a new double tang stamp Brian Yellowhorse Elk 112 I bought a few months ago. It's the only double tang stamp 112 I have ever seen and it's perfect for my rare odd collection. I've seen a few double tang 110's and a 118 but never a 112..I'll get some pictures up in the next few days.

Ok possibly the nicest surprise in Buck purchases to date. Looked up Kephart knives per friend’s suggestion as i had no idea what that knife or style was and i swear i had seen that before. In Buck? Well the 104 camp knife popped into my mind. It’s definitely very close looking so i ordered one and I absolutely love it.
Micarta is my favorite handle material. Perfect size and the sheath made in USA actually rides slightly higher and makes the knife seem smaller than it is. Definitely gonna order more of these.
Added note: uncle timbo i just back read and see your post on your Kephart. So strange i posted this having not read your post?

112 Slim Select "nail notch" version just arrived! Very nice. Good centering, solid lockup, no play in any direction. The blade is a bit more "clipped" than my other 112s (two-dot, FG, and LT). I've been wanting to get another 112LT but they aren't being made. The original Slim Select would have been a good alternative but I find thumb studs awkward to use and I don't care for the look (just a personal preference, YMMV). When they put the nail notch version on the website and on sale I went for it. (The markdown basically covered the shipping and tax.) The blade date stamp is 2019, by the way. My plan was to immediately remove the pocket clip but I'm going to keep an open mind about it and leave it on at least for a while and see how I like it.
