When it's not exactly Made in the USA - Hoback

Because this thread is explicitly about Jake Hoback. I thought you would have figured that out by now, but I clearly overestimated you. If you'd like to start a thread about Pena knives and present your 'evidence' there, we can certainly discuss it, but at this point you're simply making nonsensical claims that have nothing to do with the actual topic of the thread because your ignorance and falsehoods are being exposed
I’ll take “Ulterior Motives” for $200*, Alex!

* About all I’d pay for a Hoback now.

50 pages, one sitting.

F#$K!!!

Two of y'all got those trolling skills on POINT!

I've seen one of you troll on numerous threads, so I expected to see you here, but this new guy is pushing hard to take the title of "#1 TROLL". There were moments even I thought "Is this guy serious? Maybe it really is Hoback with a fake name?", but I think he is just a seriously determined troll (or idiot if he meant everything he has typed) with way too much time on his hands.

Back to work for me, hope to see you all in, idk 20 pages?

To the mods, PLEASE DON'T CLOSE THIS THREAD!!!
I hate to break it to ya, but the likelihood that Hoback himself has spent the last 51 pages arguing with you all is highly unlikely, particularly when it comes to a member that has been here long before this thread opened.

Oh, sorry. Didn’t know I wasn’t ALLOWED to mention examples that contradict your claims.. because we don’t contradict you in the thread titled “Hoback”. Sorry, won’t happen again, sir.
Your examples do nothing to contradict any of my claims. You're actually implicitly accepting my claims, you're just insinuating that Pena knives is also guilty of the wrongdoing. It's an absurd false equivalence, as Pena knives has never been deceptive about their country of origin, so claiming that they're removing COO stickers to obfuscate anything is simply inane.

(Yawn) You were the one that made the claim the COO had to be on the box, per import regulatory practice. I gave you an example wherein it isn’t. The rest of this has been your attempts to backpedal out of the mess you brought on yourself. I’m done with ya. Let’s move on.

Wouldn’t take one for free after this debacle, this borders on Survive! Territory
Kind of makes you wonder what’s worse. Knives that have been misrepresented for years as being something they aren’t, or getting taken for a ride in a Ponzi scheme. 🤣🤣

At least with China Jake, you actually have something to use for all that pesky sentry removal we all find ourselves needing to do from time to time, I suppose!

Legally you must follow the speed limit, many don't, by your logic that means the speed limit doesn't exist. Your example is utterly vapid. Meanwhile, I've linked to the actual US Customs website going over COO policy. My evidence is incontrovertible, yours betrays either dishonesty or incredible ignorance.

But you’re using it to bash Hoback, and not anyone else.

Imagine a cop watching 5 cars race by at 25 mph over speed limit.. but let’s say he decided to pull over Jake Hoback.

This is essentially what you’re doing.

Lol, I guess a chinesium folder is better than a 5 year old pipe dream.

I wonder, if there had been incorrect advertising by dealers that negatively impacted the knife makers business and sales would he have been as passive in taking action to correct that information? I think probably not

Do you have any idea how long it takes to make all those long distance calls using a rotary dial phone?

G. Scott H.
Sherriff Andy Griffith's office phone (the one Barney is talking on) did not have "rotary dial", they went through the operator to make outgoing calls.
LOL history is so quickly forgotten.

I am amazed how many folks are claiming they 'thought' all of Jake Hoback knives were All Made In America, and wondering about the Dealers connection/liability as they are the one's who have made the specific claims related to Made In America. Are any of these dealers (who made bank on this particular brand) offering mailing labels for returns? Many small startups in the knife community were/are doing exact type of outsourcing, while allowing community to believe they are in-house mfr.
