I wouldn't have one at any price point.

I feel sorry for the vendors...and especially for the end users.

For Hoback, I simply feel pity for his allowing filthy lucre to overcome whatever integrity he may have possessed.

How he can pretend those things in this very thread didn't happen is beyond me. I understand for people not familiar with the thread and this guys history that I come off as harsh, but this isn't a one off. He does this repeatedly. If he continues to lie and troll he needs to be called out. I'm sick of the unchecked lying and being intentionally obtuse to argue for the sake of it. He doesn't even own a hoback, never has.

I spent almost a grand on hoback knives. Now he says he'd buy one? Dude is an absolute troll. It's astonishing he gets away with it.

Yeah, he never should have forced the vendors to falsely claim that the knives were made in the US. 😂

The opposition here is emotional and unrelenting, but I won’t let their desire for a pro-Hoback boogeyman/scapegoat craft my opinion. My opinions are my own, not what a few trolls want them to be.

I've never posted on here but read for years, but you keep saying this like it's the truth and it's not. Hoback has made shop tour video's in the past, and he has a pretty nice Kitamura vertical machine, and another that I don't remember the name. Not trying to start an debate here, just trying to make sure the facts are represented.

He deleted his videos on YouTube. Coincidentally. His updated shop vid as of 3 months ago showed 1 tormach and 1 horizontal he just got. The kitamura. Everything I said is a fact.

I don't think even you can keep track of all the sides you've taken without a scorecard. You've hardly been a shining example of the search for truth.

Facts? He JUST GOT THE KITAMURA. 3 months ago according to his now deleted video. That's the fact. So all these years with 1 tormach is 100% accurate.

Even with his new machine, it's impossible to make all the knives he has his name on. I highly doubt he makes a fraction of them. He outsources to other USA shops for his actual USA knives. Supposedly.

Yep. In fact he has a video where he mentions that he's selling one of his old Tormachs, and he mentions that he only uses the other one for low-tolerance work like milling G10 and engraving pocket clips.

Something else he says is that he does work for the military, which could get interesting, depending on where he made those knives and what he disclosed about them.
 
He deleted every video within the last year or I'd post the shop update I watched yesterday that showed his shop and he admits to just now getting the kitamura. Dude is deleting everything that has evidence. Why delete it?
