Who carries a Stockman

Still my only stockman
but she's a good 'un!



i think i may have to hunt me down one about 3 1/4" with a pen blade. i think case has a couple like this, and there is the buck 303 of course :p
 
Ignore the top knife but my UH is my most carried stockman. I have a few including a new old stock that is still in the original box and plastic as a back up :)

I've been carrying a Schatt and Morgan heritage premium stockman. Was today's snow knife with my Gossman micro Kephart.

Great having issues with Tapatalk.
 
I've got a couple stockmans in my rotation, my favorite being a 40s or 50s Camillus. I may change favorites soon, though, as there's a vintage 108OT on its way from the gettin place.

I recently got from a member of this forum a Case medium stockman in CV.. about 3 5/8" closed and have been carrying for a few weeks now.

Looks like this one:

Anyone has carried one of the same size for long time? I would love to see some well used one of these..
 
Great stuff here, guys! That Ken Erickson is beautiful.

I love the stockman and think it might be the most practical pattern out there.

I carried this 3 1/2" Hen & Rooster every day for more than 20 years--the shield fell off when I was fishing:



It still gets toted but since I've gotten the bug there are a lot more patterns in the rotation. Other stockmans include a really nice red bone 6347 ('74 I think?) and a very poorly put together '78 delrin 6392 that I got cheap but that takes an edge like few others. No pics of those.

I also really like this little Calf Roper:



And I can't stand not being able to pony up for a GEC Abilene right now--that right there is my kind of knife. In a red bone like they handled some of the Montanas with it would be the ultimate...
 
I haven't posted in several months, but have dropped by every once in a while to see what's going on. Mostly had the Case peanut or Bulldog copperhead in my pocket, but I slipped this one in today.

I now EDC a Case Large Stockman with CV Blade and Yellow Delrin Handles, a very nice knife indeed.

I have the same one. However, mine came with quite bad blade rub from new..
Doesn't matter really though, as it will become a user...:D
 
Carrying a Case 6344 in Red Bone CV right now. Very nice slim knife. It is the upper one in this relatively poor photo. The lower one is the Case 63087. Slightly larger and has a spey rather than a sheepsfoot.

 
I'm carrying my Frontier Stockman today. I can't get enough of these old beauties.

Got to trim a snack- bag down to size, LOL. :p

Carrying this one Case medium stockman 6318 in amber bone today with a good amount of Burt's Bees and a flashlight.. We have been getting hit by snow all week already and wow is it dry out there.
