Another shot of the Congress Jack, the Forum Knife of 2013. Excellent build quality, nickel silver liners,Rat-Tail bolsters. Too bad the later versions from 2017 were not as well made or interesting, still good knives mind.

I love the looks of a Congress pocketknife, one of the most unique traditional patterns, and have collected several variations for display, but for some reason don't care to EDC one. OH

This Northfield Half Congress is one of my special knives, a gift from William Howard.
This is one of the three slip joints that I carry on a regular basis.

I had one of these beauties at one time. It was, at that time, my favorite knife. I lost it in Rogers, AR at the Oklahoma vs. Arkansas High School Cross County Duel. I miss it dearly. Replaced it with an ebony Courthouse Whittler. I hope whoever found it loves it! That’s a sweet knife! 6451726A-6427-469B-8564-353AF30B7C5C.jpeg

I did not think I would enjoy carrying one either till I finally bought one. I noticed that when I usedan my stockman I had switched too I used the sheepsfoot a quite deal to strip wire and cut hoses and trim clean plastic parts I was modifing when makeing something for machines I worked on at my job. So I took the plunge and I like it fairly food still love my stockman but with the amount of cutting I do I like having two sheepshoot blades and I have a small wharncliff/pen blade and coping blade for detailed work on my medium size congress. The new congress I got is a little over four inches long and has a spear point blade will be more veritable for fishing and hunting but I did help a pal that had went fishing skin and get fillets off a cat fish he had caught one day it can be done just have to use a little forethought.

That is a beauty hopefully I will be.able to afford a top line model one day money is just tight only reason I just have the imperial medium size and my large rough rider for now. I use my knives for everything from cutting stuff on my day job to cleaning fish and small and big game when I get a chance to be in the woods also use them around house doing yard work cutting weed eater line trimming door seal just everything under the sun if I had a expensive one I probably would not use it some of the nicer models I have seen are just about to good looking to use

I carried this one for a good while. The pen blade opened many a trout belly along the creek. It blade options was always nice, but the handle was a bit cumbersome to me, a bit unnatural for certain cuts.

I soaked it in Coke to form the patina and it had a nice cola smell to it. The thin blades cut like razors, I would recommend you try one from Case in CV.
