These look fantastic! Nice handle and bolsters. S35VN is a great steel, and the nail nick looks like on the Scagel slipjoints, Derrick Bohn used to sale a few years ago.Old Hunter these have buffalo horn covers and S35vn blades

The 47 is the best medium stockman frame. Wish Case made more varieties and brought back the two spring design with kinked blades.Case still does green bone as good as anyone! My favorite #47.

Thank you! I have had a very good Shad season this year, caught Shad in all four major river systems in NC - that was my goal. Caught the most in the Roanoke and the Neuse, less in the Tar, and the least in the Cape Fear. Getting ready to shift to saltwater (already got into one Bluefish run on Bogue Banks - the small snapper blues) next week trip up to Cape Hatteras to try for some of the Bull Drum and "Chopper" Bluefish.
