Who still carries a Case Knife?

Had the EJ and a Tribal Lock yesterday. EJ and single-blade Stockman today.

Pile for the week. Have I mentioned I have become a fan of Case Teardrops? One of my favorite Case patterns (along with the Tribal Locks). Should have a few more arriving this week. Still not a big fan of the Swayback Gent. Will likely keep this one, but not acquire any more. The Eureka Jack is still finding it's way into my hand/ pocket quite a bit each week.

According to the people I spoke with at the Case factory, the Tribal Lock pattern is on hold. It could possibly even be placed into the vault. Apparently, they are trying to increase production of their top selling patterns. The Tribal Lock is not one of them. I have noticed the Tribal Locks sort of evaporating from dealers shelves. Better grab an extra one to tide you over, because it might be a while before we see a new run. It is one of my favorites, and one of Tony Bose’s best creations.

OldHercDude OldHercDude , beautiful group of Tribal Locks! Congratulations. There is so much I like about the Tribal Lock. It is a big knife yet so easy to carry. The pattern seems to conform to the shape of a pocket.

@hornetguy , it works out well for me that GEC uses mostly Carbon steel while Case uses mostly stainless. It gives me more than enough of both. But I get your point.
I really like the Case Tribal Lock that you introduced me to, and I thank you for that. It's a good size knife to be useful, fits well in the hand and not too bulky in the pocket. I'm sad to hear that they'll be hard to get as I missed out on 2 that I liked. I prefer carbon blades, but I wouldn't pass up a stainless steel blade if the opportunity arose, especially as there are very few Case models available in France.
I like the Sod Buster so I haven't managed to get one with a carbon blade, the few available here are in stainless steel.
You've made me appreciate Case knives, despite their little flaws.
Good day Greg
