Who still carries a Case Knife?

That's a nice one Ron. A Peanut is a bit small for me but my wife likes them. I found a perfect condition amber bone Case Peanut at a pawnshop several years ago, it lasted five minutes on my desk - wife spied it and said, "that's mine!" I saw it the other day, she was opening some packages with it. OH
Thanks - Yep my wife has her peanut in her purse - and opens packages with hers too. I asked her if she wanted to start a peanut collection. She said no unless it has a diamond studded handle.

Wife and I went out to dinner last night for our 46th anniversary, I cleaned up a bit and carried an appropriate dinner-out pocketknife - Case pearl handles no less! OH

Now that we are getting settled in our new home I'm finding my stuff and finding places to keep it. Opened a box of pocketknives yesterday, going to carry my Case 6308 Whittler today. OH

Congrats! And enjoy the new home. :)

I've got the stag sowbelly this week... it's the "Rancher" version with CV steel... I really like the sowbellies... after I do my "ergo-mods" to them. It makes them so much better to carry and use....
Strange thing.... I pulled this out to touch up the edges, and promptly dropped it... onto a concrete floor... 😞 After inspection, I thought it had escaped any damage... then I saw the little ding at the end of the bolster on the spey end of the knife. I exercised the blade, and found out the ding had altered the w&t of that blade... there is now a little built in hesitation when opening, and it's a tiny bit sluggish on closing. Not a huge deal, just a change. I'm keeping it well oiled, in hopes that it will wear in and smooth back up.... life goes on....
