Who still carries a Case Knife?

I just got back from a short vacation. I was able to get out on my Dad's new sail boat. Had tons of fun!! I took the one picture at night after my Dad's gig which was a blast and right next to his slip in the marina.

A while back, he gifted me a newer case stockman which I carried the entire time I was there. The Zippo was from my mother in law's father who actually worked tool and die with my grandfather on my mom's side! Small world... 😅

We were moving at a pretty decent clip on the way out. But, there was so little wind on the way back that we had to motor in 🤣 which is when I took the picture.

I did lose my sunglasses in the channel though when I bent over to sit down on the dock and chat with the neighbor 😝 Luckily they were cheap gas station sunglasses! I have keepers on my nice polarized pair I wear when fishing so that exact thing never happens!!

I do like that knife and the burlap micarta though! It hasn't seen a lot of pocket time, but it deserves more!!

Beautiful!! I have the 2 blade version from the same period also with the sweet stag covers, really love it. Have way more knives than I need, but that one stays on my hip. Such a joy to use!
I totally agree

Case made many, many great models of knives, yet the 5165 and the 5265 are practical and visual masterpieces.

I shunned the stockman pattern for a long time, as I considered myself a one blade knife knife of guy. At some point last year, I convinced myself to try this for a while. I'm somewhat surprised to report that I've grown to like it, and carry it often.

I am not surprised that the sheepsfoot is the blade I use the most, followed by the spey. I rarely use the clip.
