Those new mulberry knives by case are pretty handsome! I have been looking at the small Texas toothpick myself.Mail call!
I was hoping they were going to put out a mulberry pen, but it just wasn't happening. Since I've never had this pattern I figured two birds with one stone with a mulberry canoe!
Pretty sweet knife. It's less chunky than I thought. Nice and slim. Great size. For some reason, I thought it was a single spring and it's not, but the blades and springs are thinner so it may as well be.

It's a very nice color! I was hooked from the first time I saw a picture. After holding out for a little while to see what was released, it just seemed like a good time to pick one out.new mulberry knives by case are pretty handsome
I like that colour too, very much. What other patterns are offered can you say? It's a very nice color! I was hooked from the first time I saw a picture. After holding out for a little while to see what was released, it just seemed like a good time to pick one out.
The tiny toothpick would be a fun choice! Hmm......
a. Make more of the pen knifeYeah, it's an eternal gripe with me that CASE won't ever:
The regular and small trapper, a 3.25" stockman, canoe, small toothpick and two different lockbacksWhat other patterns are offered can you say?
I agree! The medium pen needs some options! Such a nice pattern.CASE won't ever make more of the Penknife ,
Mmmhh would obviously agree with a)a. Make more of the pen knife
b. Tone down their use of stainless
c. Stop over-polishing the blades
d. Learn to sharpen
e. Up their quality control
f. Pin their shields
Hey, this could be a whole thread of its own!
I wish Case had come out with this pattern as the vault release for this year instead of the razor/one arm knife they did release. My Dad bought me my first knife in 1979. Still looks good.
It doesn't get carried a lot but I used the leather punch the other day at the barn.

I agree, I bought one for my father inlaw a little while back that had the tiny shield. I don't know why they thought a rice grain was appropriate!...., laughably tiny shield, ....
100% agree, and Case has ruined their shield in the last 20 years with the tiny oval and script CASE that is barely legible on some knives. Barlow’s have that great big bolster just begging for some great brand stamping. OHEveryone knows with a barlow, stamped bolsters are where it's at![]()
