Who still carries a Case Knife?

Mail call!

I was hoping they were going to put out a mulberry pen, but it just wasn't happening. Since I've never had this pattern I figured two birds with one stone with a mulberry canoe!

Pretty sweet knife. It's less chunky than I thought. Nice and slim. Great size. For some reason, I thought it was a single spring and it's not, but the blades and springs are thinner so it may as well be.

Those new mulberry knives by case are pretty handsome! I have been looking at the small Texas toothpick myself.

It's a very nice color! I was hooked from the first time I saw a picture. After holding out for a little while to see what was released, it just seemed like a good time to pick one out.

The tiny toothpick would be a fun choice! Hmm..... 😁.
I like that colour too, very much. What other patterns are offered can you say?

Yeah, it's an eternal gripe with me that CASE won't ever make more of the Penknife , such a good pattern but why only ever in Yellow D?? Amber Bone, Chestnut, some Micarta be excellent but never:confused:

Thanks, Will

a. Make more of the pen knife
b. Tone down their use of stainless 🤮
c. Stop over-polishing the blades
d. Learn to sharpen
e. Up their quality control
f. Pin their shields

Hey, this could be a whole thread of its own!
Mmmhh would obviously agree with a) :D b) and c) Their stainless is fine but more matte/glaze finish please. d) their sharpening is satisfactory, for an American knife...e) Can't complain about their QC so far and given they make huge No.s of knives it seems OK but some people seem to make a hobby out of being traumatised by CASE. f) If the glue's OK then I'm not bothered:).

I'll add g. Let's have a Spear master single blade other than Tribal lock or Canoe with secondary.

My Dad bought me my first knife in 1979. Still looks good.
It doesn't get carried a lot but I used the leather punch the other day at the barn.

I wish Case had come out with this pattern as the vault release for this year instead of the razor/one arm knife they did release.

Yours is a very handsome knife! It sounds like it has a good history, which can make a knife more endearing.

Postman just dropped off this Case Pocket Worn Gray Bone Crandall Jig Barlow in Carbon Steel!

Slight side-to-side play in both blades, laughably tiny shield, and could use a real edge put on it but I can live with it. On the plus side, no gaps and the gray bone is pretty cool looking with a lot of light blue tones. Can't wait to get the patina going!
