I'm loving that slimline trapper L Large Ring . Everything is right about it. Looks like it melts in the hand.
Thanks TusconMik.....it does fit the hand very well. The strong snap is what gets me about this one though. She is still snappy.I'm loving that slimline trapper L Large Ring . Everything is right about it. Looks like it melts in the hand.
Sweet looking Case Barlow
Thanks OH! Still find the 6318 to be my go to for everyday. Does 99% of my cutting needs.ismaris - great minds buddy! Love your 6318. OH
Nothing wrong with the that copperhead Gary, but wow, those chestnut covers are real eye poppers!I carried a Case 63032 CV chestnut jigged bone medium stockman all of last week as the Stockman of the Week my rotation schedule assigned me. I love the chestnut jigged bone CV series from Case, but I actually prefer other Case stockman models (6318, 6347) to the square-bolstered '032.

I also carried a Case copperhead as a "free choice" knife last week (thanks, Steve). Awesome knife IMHO!

This week the only Case knife I'm carrying is the chestnut jigged bone CV Sod Buster Jr I carry literally every day.

You are very welcome Gary. You’re probably right you shouldn’t post a picture here, but that’s alright, I remember what it looks like! Thanks for your enthusiasm, Todd.
FWIW, I carried a second "free choice" knife last week that was also a copperhead, but not a Case. It was that first-class Rough Rider tobacco bone Outdoorsman series copperhead you sent me - thanks!(I probably shouldn't post a pic of it in this Case thread.

Gary, you have some fine Chestnut bone Case Knives, probably their best modern color for jigged bone. OHI think the 897UH is an ideal medium stockman!
That’s a great looking mini trapper Bruce, does it have any blade play? I’ve noticed that several of mine do, but I’ve recently started to work on them to fix it. Can’t wait to see your blade mod!Carrying the Mini-Trapper 3207 I bought at the lumberyard yesterday. I have never been a Trapper guy (54 pattern size) as they feel lumpy in my pocket but this one carries in the pocket about like a Medium Stockman. I may eventually convert the Spey blade into a Sheepfoot (and cut a long nail groove in it). OH
