Is that Lloyd (Luger) in the red shirt? Looks like he has made a firm decision on three tubes and is contemplating more in those TWO boxes !!! :eek::eek::rolleyes::D

Or might he be thinking - now how much did I budget ??!! :D:D I doubt anyone could pry those three from his paw. ;):D

Charlie looks sleepy. I see he brought out the 3 in 1 oil - oil the joints ! :D

Looks exciting !!! :eek::D:D

And the guy in the gray shirt next to Lloyd is swapping stickers on the on the tubes! :eek: Just kidding! :D

Looks like a fun time had by all.

That is Lloyd in the red shirt! He was cool as a cucumber and hid his game face well. We were all trying our best, those of us that we're older, to allow Charlie the time he needed to get the knives out and begin telling us what he brought that was not planned or expected. I was thrilled to see Dave for the first time and reconnect with Barry and Charlie! Lloyd would occasionally lean over to me and whisper, "this is a PPP?! I didn't know he was bringing that!" I nodded and waited for the dust to settle, somewhat. ;) I went expecting to buy only two, later wound up with five. Who knew he was bringing some smooth yellow bone, ebony PPPs, rosewood clips or some of the others I can't remember now. It went by quick, almost too quick, course that was our fault. I think by the end of the show there were still a couple rosewood clips, palo santo sheep and others that I can't recall still left. You guys didn't realize this but Josh, the guy in the grey shirt, had around ten lined up in front of him and a very empty backpack! I'm kind of a prodigious noticer, you might say.:D

Thanks everyone for making it a great show! My blue Rubbermaid tubs (I managed to nearly fill a second one!) are empty!! That money goes into the next runs of course. I had a great time, meeting and hanging with like-minded knife people! It just doesn't get any better!!
One of the highlights of the show, was sneaking up on Christine from GEC on Sunday just before the doors opened for the show-goers, and singing Happy Birthday!! We didn't get the chance to sing when we took her out to dinner the night before. I did a quick circuit, and whispered a bunch of invitations at 30-40 tables to sing with us, then the whole infamous crew of us surrounded her table! She looked up, shocked, and said "What'd I do???"
Knowtracks hit the right key, and singin50 did his perfect harmony!! I thought for a split second we were a professional choir!!
That was the spirit of the weekend, right there!!

Looks like it was a great time!!!

Happy that all who wanted some Tc love got theirs :)

Lloyd You came away huge brother!!!! Great Haul!!

Very true, Charlie! I, for one, was impressed with all the singing talent in our small male chorale!

Charlie: Blue Rubbermaid tubs? I thought you carried all your goodies around in a red velvet bag with white fur trim. :confused::D When you show up it's like Christmas.

Of course there is yet another side to Oregon. Seems a person can spend too much money on antique pocket knives, as well as recent ones!!

Here are some beauties that came home with me;

A few more:

There are two more, which eventually went home with someones else, two Remingtons. I will try and get pictures of them as well.

Some of these are outrageously rare and beautiful, some are ordinary and worn. All have a story to tell.

Love that Empire!
I hate missing that show: three years in a row now since I got back to WA.

Congratulations to everyone who got to attend the show. It looks like a good time was had by all and that everyone left with a bagful of goodies. :thumbup:
