DAN K do you want to do the assembly paper on it?
there should be one made, to properly take down and put this back together..you never know who will end up with it. :rolleyes: :footinmou :D

some pictures might be nice, in case of loss also.
once I can get it together, I'll let you know what the DRO reading that were on it
and just in case someone wants to make replacement parts, some info on that too. :)
 
by "pics"....I meant take-down pics....of the parts, etc.
 
JUST IN FROM HARRY:

Harry is finishing up the bola and hopes to get out to me around-about Monday. Pop will need it to fit into the display case. Looks like a piece of Nick's damascus in the silver plate and ivory backed by jade for the tips. Here is the pix Harry emailed me:

EDIT: I just finished my current batch of knives and except for doing some finish work on a couple I am now between batches of knives to make. It's a good time for me to finish my part of the collab. knife. I will try to get it finished this week end. Question is should it then go to sheath making, then to Steve, then to Bruce?

Dang, seeing that bola made me think again that I'm going to have to bid like a madman to do my best to get this knife, whenever it gets auctioned. That bola is seriously fine! (And the knife's no slouch either. :D) Can't wait to see Pop's case and Jay's sheath. This is a great project Roger, finally coming to fruition, eh? :cool:

The offer still stands.. you can send her back to me to finish the handle..
I know you have your hands full.. it's not an admission of defeat sending it back for me to finish, it's knowing ones own time limits, that is the hardest part of knife making to me..
there is a lot of work in that old girl

your dad must be close to done the with the case too ,, yes maybe? :confused: please up date us buddy..oh and please don't forget the blank I sent you..
