Who's gotten their 5.1 Starter?

I find myself leaving it at home or in the truck more often than not. I just don't use "big" knives, I love them but I just don't take them out with me. The camp knife is an awesome chopper, and because of the high grind it actually works great in the kitchen. It slices through food without breaking the food if that makes sense.

Sorry to jump into your conversation late...but what knife are you discussing?

Fiddleback forge Production camp knife.
Looks like we have another one for the mud wrestling competition!

Nice knife....between a 6 and a 7/7, new generation that is. I might be too precious for a mud 'raslin competition!!! Maybe too old would better describe it! What size GSO are you considering or ordered? What size knife do you like to carry out in the field?

So, is it a death match royal rumble? Or like one on one, single round elimination?

If I am going to do this I'll make sure to eat a lot of beans and sauerkraut and then it will be to the death, at least to the olfactory sense of the other combatants, and wear one of these...it'll give me the edge!

Good question!

In all seriousness, Someone needs to buy it, I need more SK!
So tempting, but I don't think I could take any future savings away from GSO's, plus I'm trying to save for whatever my grail backpack ends up being..........

This has turned into the most hilarious thread. The pics add so much! I didn't come up with anything worth posting, but I enjoyed googling mud wrestling a lot more than I thought I would.

I have a 3.5 that had become my daily carry with the clip flipped upside-down. I ordered a drop loop from sagewood, but I like the clip better for me. I ordered new spec 6 and 3.5, and picked up a 4.7 in the presale that I'm really excited about. Most of the time in the field I carry a Dogwood Customs Hawkins, 1/8" thick 4.5" cpm154 blade.

Thanks! If you don't mind asking, why the 6? That's a little shorter the your Fiddleback Camp that you're selling because you don't use it.

The 6 carried much smaller than the camp knife. I just wanted a little longer handles. Once guy changed it, I was back in! It will most likely ride in the pack and the new 3.5 on the hip.
It's a sickness and I can't help myself. After I sell the camp knife because it's"big" ilk probably buy a gso 12! Haha

Holy cow, what did I just walk in on! It's like a wreck happening right in front of me. I want to look away but can't
