As a loyal Mantis Militia Member, I'm going to be right there in the front lines when it all goes down. Where will you be?
I will be right here, pointing at you and saying Ha Ha! in a Nelson Muntz voice.
Kind regards,
Jos

How many knife companies do you know of, where the owner and CEO of the company will take the time to deal with you personally?

When all what goes down?
I have an honest question that you may be able to help with. Even though Mantis knives are imported, I have yet to see one with an import marking. Even a sticker. Please ask your General what's up with that.
Or. . . .
Maybe this guy is Jared West himself, taking the reins of "Operation Charlie?"![]()
[ELITIST ENGLISH ACCENT] Excellent query Doug. Perhaps the young chap will tell us what IS going down. And whom it will go down upon.[/ELITIST ENGLISH ACCENT]
made4blade, feel free to go to the Knife Reviews & Testing forum to actually review Mantis knives, not to provide more Mantis spam.
When you start talking about a knife company sending you confidential emails and coming to the conclusion that your militia has a traitor, I would recommend that you stop and ask yourself one question: how the hell is anyone supposed to take this stuff seriously?
Answer: you can't and, by extension, no one's going to take your knives seriously either.
Well, these mantis militia guys might be a trifle weird, but they have a snappy uniform ...

I bet they look more like this:

I would think it's probably cause they are made with US steel. So, they are an American product, assembled in Taiwan.
Is this a problem???
Wrong. Whether they are made of US steel or not, they are a foreign made product and must be marked with CoO.
If Jared West is bypassing US import laws, then yes it is.
Okay, here's how it works. If any member here unlucky enough to not be enlisted in the Super Special Ninja Awesome Army can successfully spam other forums to the point where people actually agree that they will never buy a Mantis product, I'll buy them a Spyderco Delica. Black handle only, your choice of edge type. Work your magic.
