I don't remember; why was Cliff Stamp banned from the forum?

There's of course a lot more history than a single post, but here it is:

"This is where Bladeforums shows how far it has degraded since Turber left. Debating if D2 is brittle is like debating if L6 has low corrosion resistance or if carbides weaken the tensile strength of steel, anywhere else these are just measured facts."

Let keep this one on topic before it gets locked.

We can however, talk about Cliff reviews. He owned a SHBM, and a B7 and borrowed a BME from someone, can't remember who now. I remember talking to people at shows who stated that they wanted a Busse because of Cliffs hard use reviews. He did plenty of comparisons as well. Of course he made no friends with Mad Dog Fans when he broke two Tusks consecutively, lol, doing very light work.

Wow. What a thread.
But, staying on topic, these Busse knives are incredibly tough, strong, flexible, lol, you name it!
And.....they are all so very pleasing to the eye as well. Honestly, that has drawn me to Busse more than anything. Where else are you gonna find a handle as nice as a Fusion handle. Pure genius, that Mr.Busse I tell ya. His designs are 2nd 2 None imo.

For me, the attraction was simple:
1. The warranty/guarantee
2. The blade grinds
3. The testimonials from people I trusted

What's kept me, is IMHO, more important:
The performance during my usage + ease of maintenance + ergos + Busse culture = user/collector for life

Thank you for the information. I enjoyed Cliff's reviews, and he certainly did help sell a LOT of Busse knives! But for me it was seeing Ron Hood use a couple of Busses in his Basic Survival video years ago that really hooked me.
