why do the heavy duty bk knives come with such slippery handles?

some people can't afford platinum lube? :D

there have been some folx that have lubed up their hands, and then hammered their knife into a log. Becker knife, with Becker handles (type 1 handles). Knife didn't slip. go figure.

that smooth grip also cleans up real nice when you get blood on it. like from gutting a deer. something where if the handles were actually slippery, it would be a problem.

the military doesn't have a problem with these handles either.

My last post of the evening and, SpikeHawk, you made my Day Sir. When you have too much Vaseline on your hands you don't understand the real thing, Which seems obvious by the op in this thread.
 
Only one way to solve this... I just gave my six-year-old my Visa card. I'll report back tomorrow.

Interwebz guns , get it right lol. And as for you mr strong hands I lift weights all day , try the oiled up Becker handle grip stab challenge , video it and see if it fails. Otherwise shut up and bugger off.
 
i'm way behind on getting colored handled, new clearcoats, and all that.

hell, there's a bunch of things i just don't have. waaah.

still got my self-respect though.

dammit. just lost it. slipped out of my hands.

That 9 was "won" at a Gathering, went into my truck toolbox, and I've been using the heck out of it since that pic. Just chopped up some pecan limbs with it yesterday. :thumbup:
I bought the 4 and 5 after rumors of their demise. The 4 has seen some decent use, but I'm going to wear down the coating before I finally strip it and paint the whole thing pink.
Here 'tis all new and sparkly like.
