Why so much rudeness and anger in the Cantina?

Goats are a freak out- they have those alien eyes with vertical pupils like a stingray.

Dee-lish when roasted or curried, though. Makin' me hungry.

What we need to restore camaraderie is a nice goat BBQ: HD can supply the guest of honor, but we need a place for the festivities. How about the munk compound?

We haven't all been there since the "Last Stand: Khuk In Hand" thread.

Now that was a party.

Then there was the time on DIJ's UFO...

Yeah, where exactly would "Last Stand" goes these days HI forum or Cantina;)? Lots of khuks in there, lots of silliness as well. I hope the Munk Compound is still open for business when the invasion begins. If zombies crash through my door at my house, i might as well just offer myself to them on a platter with an apple in my mouth.....well unless i can get me one of those Demonic Hellfire Goats to flank them:D

I'll reassure everyone here that lithium is back in the marketplace after somone tried to corner the market.

we had a rough coupla weeks but call the druggist... I did ... you know who you are.... and lets just forget and forgive... I'm already hearing about class action suits being taken against an element.

That's a great byline, howlin wolf.

Did someone really try to corner the market on Lithium? You're probably just kidding.

It is a great byline. Real conversations, exchanging and developing ideas, are not always PC. Perhaps some of what we see in this forum is the spirit of real freedom minded people who refuse to limit themselves to the niceties of bland comformity. As long as there no blood spilled, and no excess profanity or porn to deafen the ears, we should try to let things resolve themselves.

no I'm kidding
hospitals rarely use lithium to stabilize mania - it takes too long - at least a few weeks
my wife is bipolar - had her first run-in with reality in '84
they use anti psychotics and anti epilepsey meds now and things are much cooler for it - few days tops now
problem is when they discover these drugs are harmful to some when taken for long periods, all hell breaks loose with the lawyers and class action suits.
she's had to go on new meds 3 times in the last 6 years
it's still much more manageable now
If you've seen the movie "Frances" about Francis Farmer you'll know what an untreated case of bi-polar illness looks like and the barbaric treatments that were given often by sadists but probably mostly out of frustration.

When I was a psych nurse we saw many manics at maximum high.

I agree with N2Sharp; the forum must respect itself, and trust itself enough to let most things work out.

Perhaps if they'd used lithium, the Enterprise would have traversed the reaches of interstellar space on a more even keel.

I don't know about that, anyway; manic's get so high, and so exhausted, they can have psychotic features.

You'd sell more tinfoil hats and attic cloaking materials to schizophrenics, for sure.
